Rediscover Nostalgia with Black Milk Project’s Artisan Stationery

Black Milk Project Travelling Stationer

In a world of constant scrolling, our hearts yearn for a haven to slow down. Black Milk Project empowers you to do exactly that: to hold onto those fleeting moments and make them last.

Step into a world where nostalgia and imagination come alive. Here, the tactile charm of artisan stationery invites you to step back in time and take a stroll down memory lane.

From handmade stamps to finely detailed postcards, this is a reminder to let your inner world unfold through the timeless beauty of analogue.

Brand Story

At first glance, Black Milk Project’s Instagram page evokes a sense of tenderness: the off-white palette, wooden red rubber stamps, and intricate postal designs. The aesthetics align seamlessly with the analogue-inspired journal movement that is taking over our feeds.

But Black Milk Project goes beyond the surface to tell an inherently universal story. Created by Malaysia-based illustrator Wei Tieng in 2013, the stationery brand explores themes of self-discovery and inner beauty. And a secret ingredient: a sprinkling of childhood whimsy.

A closer look reveals thoughtful intentions behind each design. The affirmation stamp series encapsulates self-love and confidence. The Wanderlust Mystery Box sparks curiosity and a sense of adventure. The accordion-style memo pad makes room for the uninterrupted train of thought. “Every time someone buys something from my shop,” says Wei, “here’s what I’d want to say to them: ‘This is a piece of my heart, will you hold a space for it in your world?”

New Collection: The Travelling Stationer

Black Milk Project’s latest collection, Travelling Stationer, expands the brand’s vintage wanderlust theme with a twist of vibrant Asian street stalls.

Blending the thrill of Shanghai and the retro charm of Kuala Lumpur, this series is a love letter to dreamers. Think vintage typewriters, playful spoked wheels, and antique-style lettering on warm sepia tones.

The collection features:

Accordion Memo Sheets: A set of six beautifully crafted papers folded accordion-style. The pack includes three unique designs with tearable perforations. They are compact, easy to read, and more affordable than buying a full memo book.

Whimsical Sticker Sets: High-quality die-cut stickers in three distinct designs. Each design includes two pieces, perfect for decorating journals, letters, and scrapbooks.

Travelling Stationer Stamps: Hand-illustrated rubber stamps that capture the spirit of the journey. The brand crafts each stamp from industrial high-grade red rubber for durability and precision. Artisans hand-assemble, cut, and sand every piece to ensure consistent quality.

Vintage Postcard: A 10 × 10 cm postcard featuring hand-inked linework and watercolor painting. Perfect for sending a quiet touch of nostalgia through the mail.
